    • SpeakUpLibrarian - ALA: Day Three July 12, 2009
Travelling to ALA today was more of an adventure because I had to switch trains to get there. I had never made this switch before, so to be certain I didn’t miss my stop, I crossed off each stop the train made in my schedule booklet. This worked wonderfully and I didn’t have to ask for anyone’s assistance. Actually, this is a tactic I’ve used before when tra […]

G’day Everyone.I gave room for Jamie and Robert in setting up their blog of Caption Action 2. So far they have done successfully. Even on Facebook as well. Here’s the link to Caption Action 2 site: [link] On administrative note: First of all, […]

Woke up early this morning to take my 2 dogs (Nopalito and Rex) to take care of their business outside. Later, Pris went to work, I’m home alone with dogs. I’m waiting for 11:00am Texas Longhorns football game against Nebraska Cornhuskers, that’s one of my demand to watch the game than anything in the world.

All morning, I’ve been checking blogs and their website for Gallaudet’s march to Captiol building this morning. My sprint are with them! I’m behind FSSA 200% !

2 more days will be my daughter’s 10th birthday! I miss her lot! I always love her all in my heart, it’s hard to see her growing up so fast but I’m happy that she’s my smart girl.

I better go watch the football game, Hook’em Horns!

UPDATE:  Longhorns defeated Nebraska 22 – 20, whew!  Hook’em Horns!  I saw Vince Young was at the game on sideline to root his teammates!  Go Horns!

There’s poker tournament at deaf club tonight, I’m thinking to go there if I feel like.  Talk more later, have good evening!

  1. [...] The pressure was on! Nebraska was up by 1 and 2 minutes away from possibly the biggest upset of the year. On third and 8 wide reciever Terrence Nunn caught the ball and crossed over into Texas Territory for the 1st down BUT then he fumbled, dropped, layed an egg, (whatever you want to call it) the ball to Texas! Now that’s a quality fumble. Nebraska getting better? I don’t think so. [...]
